I'm not quite sure what this is exactly because I just clicked the banner ad on Youtube that was promoting it less than 15 minutes ago.
But from what I found persuing the channel's contents, and the description provided in the profile: "
Check out this weekly batch of assorted new music videos, premieres, exclusives and engaging sounds that demand your attention.", it seems the channel's aim is to "promote and premiere" a new, creative batch of videos each week. A few are by mainstream artists, but the others are supplied by ordinary youtube user-submitted members; from the two or three videos I've seen, it looks interesting enough to follow for at least one day of the week. And, although I'm late to nearly every party, trend, and/or essential web service available, the content being provided weekly by the channel has begun only this past month, beginning from June 2 up to today (yesterday for the European/Asian folk).
Here's three of the five videos for the
week of June 30 that I enjoyed very much, in no particular order.
Youtube's Preface: (The human voice takes center stage in this a cappella roundup featuring a 64-track tribute to Michael Jackson, Ben Folds' recent college covers project and a barbershop quartet from soul revivalist (and DJ) Mayor Hawthorne.)
