Do a search inside your Users directory (of which there might be two, one on a different drive), check Include Hidden and System Files before searching, and search for .flv in order to find those files if they are still in your cache. With a small cache size, they might be immediately deleted after you navigate away from the page. Also, there is a Temporary Internet Files folder in the Windows directory that you can quickly look in, but I don't think much is stored there.
If you choose to switch to Firefox, there is an add-on called Video DownloadHelper (aka dwhelper) that grabs FLV and other media files off any page. Don't use their conversion service though, try FormatFactory which is free.
