I knew a girl at work that went out on "disability" for a while and came back with a new set. I never knew if it was appropriate to compliment her on her latest development, seemed awkward. It is like trying to answer one of those questions where no matter what you say, it can be misinterpreted (like, you look great, have you lost weight? - What, did I look fat before?)
