I've never experienced the least microscopic trace of pointed disapproval or mockery from any service staff at any hotel I have stayed at. Indeed, I'm relieved to be sufficiently plebian in my income and breeding that stays at such resorts are out of the question for me. If I want to snicker at fatuous patricians and the disconnect between their bank balance and their sense of good taste, all I need to do is listen to my clients at work. No overnight stays needed.
