I like it, but she's exaggerating it so it reads better. It certainly is an interesting read.
I like to travel, and actually see the reality of a place. But when I get to night time, I want to sleep in a clean, comfy bed and not have to use a toilet that looks like it hasn't been cleaned for a century. Nothing wrong with that.
Also, sometimes it's true - we don't want to see anything, we just want to be somewhere beautiful and relax.
