Okay... the numbers thing?

Numbers are used to give our qualitative lives quantitative meaning. A society without numbers has no structure, much like a plant cell without a cell wall.

I am numbered. I am titled. These things do not define who I am, there are merely references, handholds, road signs. People think they're bad.

I like to think of these constructs as being similar to gravity. Sure, gravity holds you down... but you wouldn't be able to do much on Earth without it.

That and everything our lord and savior, Spectre, has revealed above.
