Well looks like Candle and I are the only turkey hunters here so I'll tell ya about my opening weekends. Opening morning rain and rain and more rain so I work but Sunday was nice and saw 3 great bigguns but they were only 300 yards away and didnt want anything to do with me. Today I saw several hens but no gobblers; heard a few but no takers. Going to rain again tomorrow so hopefully sometime this upcoming week i can make contact. good luck!
