Honestly, I knew that they were in talks, but I figured they would screw it up. This trade is really beneficial in a few ways, first, it gives the Bears a chance of having a franchise QB (something they haven't had in forever) and keeping the Vikes from getting the one piece that they really needed from being the dominant force in the NFC North. They just need to focus on fixing the problems with the defense (the Babich demotion should help that) as well as making sure they have someone who's solid backing up Orlando Pace and there should be a very noticible improvement.
