I find it disturbing that little girls want to look like grown women, especially as the age where they want that seems to be decreasing. I do agree that the way young girls are being sexualized is creepy. I worry about if I ever have daughters.
Even so, I will go to VS and find things I like, despite the 'little girl stuff'. I have to say that when it comes to clothes to wear to bed I quite like things with small scale patterns, as long as they aren't too garish or silly. I think they are fun. I don't think that affects my maturity levels.
