Thank you for posting this where the men can respond as well.
The last time I walked into VS's self-described "Sexiest Store on Earth" I was creeped out by the seeming marketing of things that appeal to the little girl mentality.
There does seem to be a delayed emotional movement into adulthood for women (and men, too) that I think has a tie-in to the helicopter parents you brought up in your bubble thread.
