I'm sure we could get at least 9 or 10 different series from the Battlestar universe. We could get a pre-Kobal, a Kobal leading up to the war, the Kobal war, the Kobal exodus, the founding of the colonies, the founding of Earth by the previous skin-jobs, the destruction of Earth, Caprica, Battlestar Galactica, and then Earth 2.
Still, I think that Caprica is a good direction to go after Battlestar.
