Hi Nimi I have just bought a renault 19 16v 1995 phase 2. It used to belong to my brother and i bought it back from the people he sold it to 3 years ago. Its true that they arnt the most well built cars, but that doesnt mean they arnt good. They have great engines with superb handling and a nice gearbox. I personally would find out if this rust you speak of is structual, if so walk away. If you want more comfort when driving look for the executive model like mine which has a good quality leather interior which is incredibly comfortable. If the one you are looking at looks good go for it and have fun, just check the engine weekly for leaks from hoses etc and you should be alright as parts like that on these renaults tend to fail sometimes. But in my opinion its a lovely car and for a few hundred quid a lot of fun.
