Some people get so puzzled about how I can have a sure sense of "identity" because of all my different backgrounds--I don't get how they don't go frickin' stir-crazy and bored out of their skulls because they're surrounded by people who look, talk, think, eat, and believe like they do. Shoot me in the head when that happens to me, please!
I take great pride in drawing from all kinds of sources in my "identity," whatever the hell that word is supposed to mean. Lotsofmagnets has it right... I am me. There is no need for justification based on ethnicity, language, religion, nationality, or anything else.
