Having sex during my period with this guy has happened without planning before but he was requesting a date to do it only while I was on. I said what? He said "I want to plan a date to spend a couple days with you and make love as much as we can while your having your period." What he didn't know was that I have a girl friend who likes the same thing, she and I are heavy bleeders and our periods overlap. She and I discovered this by coincidence and experimented with it for a couple years. Now we really enjoy our special time together. The three of us finally got together and it ended up looking like a murder scene. It was definitely shower time after that. I don't know if the guy friend was exactly ready for all that happened cause he has never requested it again and it's been nearly 5 months.
