First off, DO NOT EXPECT FarCry 2.

It has nothing to do with the game other than its FPS + Pretty.

Second, as long as you dont mind excessive enemy spawning and poor AI you're good.

Example: You clear out a safe house, or small enemy camp.

3 real time minutes later, even if you're there, they will respawn. You go into your house to rest? Come out, tada!, ambush.

Every mission includes taking a 20~ minute hike across the map. Clearing out check point after checkpoint (Stealth system is mostly shit) and then finish your objective, and go back through and re-clear out every checkpoint on the way back.

Enemies spot you from half a mile away, and shoot you as well with impeccable aim through the thickest of bush.

Every mission is a repeat of its previous self.

For the good?

Amazing, breathtaking beautiful game.

Fun action.

Vehicles are great.

Fire, lots of fire.

Wide arms selection.

Music selection is flawless.

All in all, if they would have called it anything but FarCry2 there would be a lot less to bitch about. I figure a few patches or mods will eventually make this game truly great.
