So, I just finished watching
Serpico, the classic Pacino movie and true story about NYC's whistle-blowing honest cop in the 1960s, for the first time.
Then, I decided to google around for a bit to learn more about Frank Serpico. At the bottom of his Wikipedia entry, I found a link to his official
webpage. Then, from his webpage, I found this:
Serpico's blog.
Am I the only one who finds it mindblowing that Frank Serpico, who until today I only knew of as some sort of pop-culture archetype for "good cop," is a living, breathing human being who keeps a friggin' blog? The guy was born in the 1930s, for crying out loud!
Seriously, I'm just stunned. I guess you can find just about anything on the internet.
