It's CANADIAN Thanksgiving weekend. Down here in the States we still have over a month to go until our Thanksgiving holiday.
Tonight I'm going to relax. We'll probably see if any of our friends are around.
I plan on going to market tomorrow morning along with a stop at the library to return some books, coming home and doing chores (including a major project to clean and organize my bedroom), then Oregon State is playing Washington State at 3:37. I fully expect the Beavers to slaughter the Cougs, who have completely sucked this season, so then I'll be able to rub it in my dad's best friend's face the next time I see him. We'll probably have some friends who don't have TV over to watch the game (we've become the neighborhood TV set for important things, kind of fun).
After the game is over, I'm going to make some beer-potato-cheese soup. Yes, it is delicious, especially if you use a dark beer, like Deschutes Jubelale (my favorite winter ale).
Sunday I probably have work from 8:30-11:30. Following that, I have a soccer game until the mid-afternoon. Then I have to go to one of my jobs and clean an office. Sunday night, of course, I drink red wine and watch cartoons. No weekend is complete without Animation Domination.
