I've read/heard about using your non-dominant hand to do everyday stuff, for example: brush your teeth with your left hand if you are right handed. This maps out new electron paths, nueron paths, whatever, I forget, but it supposedly boosts creativity by causing some electric newness in your brain. I think this cap is trying to accomplish the same thing.
I know what I'm talking about, I'm just fuzzy on the details. I'm sure you'd all take me more seriously if I were more eloquent.
