I dont have kids. I dont feel like I want them. So I would say try to understand as clearly as possible why you want to go for kids.

One very good reason (advise) give by a girl who was much younger to me was "One need to bear and rear children in order to go through all phases of life cycle in completeness".

yes I saw people in Mt Rainier doing hiking and trekking with thier babies and kids... I thought they are cool!
