Ah, didn't know that. So it's a successful port. Fair enough. The Wii could use more of those.

The Wii is a system for the casual market unfortunately, so the only games that I think will be quality exclusives are their already established franchises like Zelda and Mario.

I'm hoping there will be more. Nintendo needs to reinvigorate their innovation. They need a new Mario and a new Link. They at least need to remind the world that they can make quality games. Enough of the crap already.

I'm also surprised that MadWorld is even on the Wii to begin with since Nintendo is not really known for having mature rated games on their systems. I realize there's a few but they've always been known as the 'kiddie' system.

I was really surprised to see it myself too, especially as an exclusive. I'd really like to see the demographics on Wii players. I don't think it's as much as a kiddie system as it has been. Video games have hit the mainstream. They are pretty much as popular as movies and television, aren't they? I don't think Nintendo will remain so focused on the younger crowd; not with the unit sales they've been seeing. I'm hoping, anyway.

Not really. Look at the 360 and the PS3. The 360 has some amazing titles that are well worth buying the system [...] The PS3 was a little bit slower but I personally think the system is worth buying [...]

This is what I mean. We didn't get these other machines because of their cost, but also because Nintendo had some unique games that appealed to both of us. (Baraka_Gurl isn't a hardcore gamer.)

[Nintendo's] E3 conference was a complete joke, and a slap in the face to any dedicated Nintendo fan. I mean seriously, Wii Music? Are you fucking kidding?

This is exactly the kind of shit I'm talking about. I really hope Nintendo pays attention to which games actually sell and get good reviews because there's a whole slew of them that are being panned.
