i've met quite a few people whose work i admired who left me wondering "what the fuck?" afterwards in a more negative way...
i think that godard has been able to continue producing stuff is pretty remarkable. he has to have a network of mycène behind him. there's a level of freedom that only such cash can buy. this knowing that most of his productions are not terribly expensive...
