Trouble is
Stiltzkin that most people watch movies to have fun, not to be overwhelmed by philosophical statements. I on the other hand love and equal dose of both but do not have a particular preference (as long as neither is hokey).
If people wish to enjoy the Animatrix then let them, for the intellectually inclined such as yourself, study it. We all have our own unique ways of approaching film and general entertainment though the general concession is that we watch to be entertained, nothing more, nothing less.
