I really hope it's good but I'm skeptical. I have NEVER played a good Star Trek game.
Star Trek has never been about space fighting. The inner workings of the ship and the crew relationship is the big draw. I'd definitely rather see a normal crew member doing just 1 or 2 of the 100s of different positions on a ship or other people going solo ship or small crew ships.
I've always thought a ST game should be more strategy and diplomatic than action.
