Both mandy and I have fairly large families and most of them live in our city. Our guest list started out at almost 250 - we've subsequently cut that down to about 220 - and that's really just close friends and family.
So we're having a big wedding. And yes, it's a very big deal to both of us. Not just the wedding ceremony itself, but the entire marriage journey....especially the religious aspect of it. Both mandy and I are Christians - she a devout Catholic and me an almost-as-devout Moravian. So getting married before God and with our family and friends as witnesses is the most important thing for us.
2 months, 23 days and counting. I can't wait.
