I've got high speed internet and my ping was very good, but things went to hell in a handbasket if anyone in the game started lagging. Laggers get an advantage in that their avatar jumps all over the place and the hitbox seems to follow them.
Netcode is the most important part of an online FPS for me, and I think that CA needs some major work. For one, avatars should never stutter when lag occurs. It should always be a smooth animation; see Halo3, Counter-Strike or even TF2 for an example of what I mean.
I'll keep playing and see if it grows on me.
I must say the graphics were phenomenal for a free game, and far more than I was expecting.

Yeah I agree. While I have played many FPS's I never played them online. For me playing against other humans is much more entertaining than AI. Mainly because I havent experienced it before (aside from Americas Army which I didnt like)
So a person could have the best video card, highest pc gear, high speed connection, but other players will still slow the whole match down?
