Listen, I agree that the argument this website puts forth is a faulty one. My point is simply that the overall response here is a bit of an overreaction. If you're going to critique someone else's argument, it's important to understand their point of view, and pro-life people believe that life begins at conception. They don't say the pill kills babies because it prevents
unfertilized eggs from implanting; they believe the pill kills babies because it prevents
fertilized eggs from implanting. Their argument against the pill is no more ludicrous than any other argument they make against abortion. I happen to be fine with abortion, regardless of when life "starts," and so I don't agree with their argument. But their point of view on the pill is generally consistent with their general opinion on abortions, and to act like this is somehow even
more loony than the general pro-life sentiment isn't appropriate.
