I am telling you folks, use ImgBurn. It will verify the ISO and ensure a bit identical copy of the data before it gives you an all clear. If you keep getting bad burns, you will know where to look.
- If the verify is bad: it is the drive/firmware or discs. Update the firmware, try again.
- Still getting bad burns, change the disc brand.
- Still getting bad burns, it is the drive/firmware not working [in Linux].
- Verify says OK, but disc doesn't play: your ISO creator is screwed up.
