From a licensing perspective GT was an administrative nightmare. I'm pretty sure of it based on the deals that I'm looking at now for just book publishing.
I didn't realize that GT3 and forward had changed that model from being able to drive the shitcans... I loved that part. Being able to drive a vehicle I can normally drive, hard and fast, like I wouldn't in real life made it much more real for me.
and here I was waiting for the right time to get a PS3 for that very game.
