I think the foreign influence on the English team particularly via the Premier League is not really a bad one in some ways - young kids being exposed to the skills of Ronaldo, Torres, Fabregas, etc are only going to want to emulate them. Long term it will probably be to the English team's benefit.

I just think teams should have to produce a few players themselves from a youth system rather than just buying them when they hit 22 years old from other leagues. I don't care if the kid in the system is English, Spanish, Nigerian or whatever, so long as they come up through the system at the club.
