I totally agree with this. Raising home grown talent and giving them the vital experience of top level football is essential if England are to regain any kind of form. There's no factual backup for this, but the decline in England's form of recent years seems to coincide with the introduction of more overseas players in national teams. Where are the English Cronaldos and Messis? Probably out there somewhere.
