OK dc I read the full interview...
Here's the full QA on the topic of golf.
Quote:
Q Mr. President, you haven't been golfing in recent years. Is that related to Iraq?
THE PRESIDENT: Yes, it really is. I don't want some mom whose son may have recently died to see the Commander-in-Chief playing golf. I feel I owe it to the families to be as -- to be in solidarity as best as I can with them. And I think playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal.
Q Mr. President, was there a particular moment or incident that brought you to that decision, or how did you come to that?
THE PRESIDENT: No, I remember when de Mello, who was at the U.N., got killed in Baghdad as a result of these murderers taking this good man's life. And I was playing golf -- I think I was in central Texas -- and they pulled me off the golf course and I said, it's just not worth it anymore to do.

And here is your comment:

So with all your intellectual honesty and good intentions, and in context of Bush's brief remarks about golfing (and moms), and from this entire interview, you deduced that his true and complete sentiment regarding all things related to the war, and the intensity of his empathy for all people who are suffering, are fully represented in those few sentences? From this one interview, you're willing to portray how the president truly cares about soldiers and their families as idiotic and lacking commitment? You must be that Amazing fucking Kreskin guy! (
your'e busted Mr. Kreskin) Or perhaps you purposely spinned the piece to take a cheap shot. Sort of like when someone wants to ... let's see ... how did you put it ...

I'd hate to see what you would have said about Obama's "average white person" statement. Whoo-buddy! I bet you'd rip him a new one for sure! I'm sure (just like you did with Bush's comments) that Barry Obama absolutely believes (literally) what he said applies to all average white people ... right?
Oh wait ... you support that guy. Pretty transparent.
Regarding the Obama quote that was in my signature ... ever hear of satire? Sort of like News Update on SNL. But the other two "quotes" by that famous minitwo guy are absolutely word-for-word. Better get that letter in the mail to SNL before they "promulgate knowingly false or deceptive information" again.
