Need a better proxy plugin for Firefox
I have multiple proxy configurations: Home, School, and Tor. I am either at school or at home, but while at these locations I must have a specific proxy settings. This makes the Tor button, installed along with the Vidalia package, useless as activating Tor in FF (2.0.0.14) removes my previous Proxy settings! I want a simple button I click on a FF tab that allows me to change to a different proxy setting WITHOUT changing the global browser settings.
I have been using various proxy plugins- Proxy Toolbar, SwitchProxy Tool, FoxyProxy- and none accomplish what I have in mind. Each have their advantages but none do what I am looking for. Proxy Toolbar changes the proxy settings of all open tabs, as does Switch. Foxy is the best so far, as it can automatically route Internet through the desired proxy, however this is not sophisticated for the ads that are placed on the pages. This is why I just want to select the desired proxy for individual tabs.
Are there plugins that I am missing? My solution so far is having a separate browser configured to route through Tor... but I would rather have all my websites available at once through my one window open... Yes I have issues.
