well the reinstalled driver seems to be working better. Hopefully that fixes it. I have already invested more money in this laptop right now than I wanted to. I replaced CD/DVD drive, power cord, battery, keyboard. Seems to be working well now.

Just a quick questions though. I have herd that having the battery at 100% charge and having it pluged into the wall can heat up the battery and damage it. Is it true?
