My friends and I play online alot, but when we all get together we have to sit mostly silent in the muck that is the current games group chat. Usualy with every one else cussing up a storm yelling at eachother and whatnots.

Is there any way to get around this on the Xbox Live? I noticed that there are privacy settings for my profile that has three settings: Everyone, Friends Only, and Blocked. If I set this to Friends only will all those other people in the game chat be able to hear us and talk to us, or will we be in our own private channel of sorts?

Is there any other way to have a group chat? We just want our own private chat room. This sounds like it would be a common issue but a search on the forum didn't come up with anything for me. Sorry if its a repost of any sort.
