and FYI, I *try* to avoid listening to mix cd's from the huge names.
basically I don't want to sit there and take from their playlists and absorb it in to my own. I can't develop my own style if i'm stuck trying to be a vampire octopus and tentacle suck the creative finds from everyone elses record bin.
