Yeah I pick my music based on the reaction my body parts get when i hear it.
but true, not so much for casual listening, but more for envisioning that "vibe" where people are just on the floor, smiling, having a good time, dancing, so on.
I really truely enjoy trance as one of the last genres of music that can make a person smile, considering there is so much out there that does just the opposite. Metal is pretty angry, Country is depressive, Emo is.... well, emo. Rap, not gonna go there..... Music kinda runs the gamut of emotions, and it's why no one would play "hurt" by nine inch nails on a dance floor full of happy people. buhaha.
the scene in Seattle is pretty hoppin.
there were about 1200 people at the Sasha and Digweed show last night... tuesday night, 1200 people. Venue was sold out so wonder how many more would have gone if they could have.
