good day, dober dan, guten tag, góðan daginn etc
(seemed to not go through. hope it doesn´t end up posted 6 times...)
*sigh* i already see myself spending too much time here. i´m not even sure where to start given this place seems to cover everything under the sun and be full of people who appear to speak their mind without fear of prejudice. this could be fun.
had a good look around from cars and music sections to the philosophy, sexuality, the photography section (i have so many of the wft photos accumulated on my pooter...) i have to admit to peeking into the ladies lounge (i promise i´ll only lurk occasionally :þ) and even found the 2 sided thread about the breakup where both parties vented in this very forum. it´s already well past my bedtime but thought i´d get something down before i head off to sleep (have to get up early to with my little bro a happy b-day back in au.) as you will have noticed by now i have a love parentheses and use them liberally.
anyway, me: i always love describing myself as "male, middle class and white" which is all true but as always there´s always more of a story behind it. lived my 1st 27 years in australia then went on a (typically australian) european stint spending some time in austria and slovenia before finding myself in iceland. and i´m still here a year later. and it looks like i´ll be here a while yet, if i get accepted into my masters. my taste in music leaves ppl scratching their heads (although i´ve just come off the back of living for a month and a 1/2 with my closest musical neighbour on last.fm...) and my taste in cars always raised an eyebrow (especially back in australia) since i love nothing more than driving a volvo family sedan. no matter how hard i try i just can´t get into beefed up american muscle cars or japanese coupés that drive like they´re been launched from a slingshot. ok, i´m already rambling (something i´m good at.) what else to say? er, i like cheese?
sleep time now i think...
