I don't know what kinda money is average in this business, but I have heard some figures thrown around for larger stars (unbelievably large amounts).
The best bet is to go to a search engine, and look for adult webmaster resources. Those are usually totally professional websites (not black and hot pink with flashing letters) that offer honest, upfront news and analysis on the adult website industry, including financial issues.
