Hi guys. I'm strongly considering running a Star Wars d20 RPG with some friends of mine in Pasadena, and was wondering if you guys could help out by mentioning some ideas for plots, character backgrounds, interesting planets, story ideas from books, comics and/or the KOTOR games.

I was considering having the game take place several hundred years before Episode I, The Phantom Menace. Back in a time when both the Jedi and the Sith were many. The feel that I'm going for is that the group will (eventualy) have a ship, and take up jobs here and there, while evading the Republic (or local crime lords) in a fashion similar to the Firefly TV series by Joss Whedon.

For those of you familar with the Star Wars RPG (Saga edition), I'm not looking for rules idea just yet. Just plot, story, villians and henchmen, etc.
