I will tell you the same thing by PS told me when I had surgery....when it comes to scars you're at the mercy of genetics. There is no "scar medicine" out there that is going to make it magically go away.
when I had my reduction he told me to not waste a single dime on the products out there that promote healing scars. His advice to me was to alternate daily with 100% cocoa butter (we are talking the really hard kind in the push up stick that they sell in the ethnic hair care section of the store, kinda like a big chapstick) NOT lotion with cocoa butter in it....it has to be 100% with nothing else (which means it will not be in a lotion form) and antibacterial cream.
Thats what I did and while I have some scaring (of course it was major surgery) its not all that bad.
DO NOT USE peroxide...it will kill the healthy cells and you dont want to do that
