Eh, I'm not too sold on a writeup by a company that sells cosmetic products.
While Vitamin E doesn't necessarily "erase" scars like a lot of other stuff claims to do, it helps keep the skin pliable. As a result, it can minimize the buildup of collagen in the skin which leads to hypertrophic scars. At least, this is what I was told by a local dermatologist, as well as my surgeon. I had a pretty wicked gash in my throat post-thyroid cancer surgery, and my scarring is pretty minimal compared to others with a similarly performed surgery.
