Scar remedies?
Hey y'all!
My two-year-old managed to put his bottom teeth through his bottom lip in the tub the other day. We opted not to get stitches (the doc didn't recommend them for his particular gash) but I can tell he'll scar a little. Since it's on his face I'd like the scarring to be minimal.
So, TFPers, which scar "remedies" have you used on yourself or your child(ren)? Which have worked for you? I've seen the Mederma commercials but have never tried it. Any experiences with that? Also, do you think it's safe to use so close to his mouth? I forgot to ask the urgent care doc all of this at the time :-(
