You know there are those who go over 120 wpm, right? You wouldn't want to add 30-40 wpm? I guess it depends on what you need typing for. If you type a lot, I'm sure you wouldn't mind a technological edge such as a more logical keyboard layout.
I was being facetious about the QWERTYs. I'm sure they'll always be available. Just like VHS tapes...and fax machines.
EDIT: Where'd you find that alphabetically ordered keyboard? Have you looked at the Dvorak one yet?
Keyboard layouts should vary depending on the language, even if they share the same alphabet. There are certain arrangements that make more sense depending on word structures. It is a study of language forms. This is the progress you should be focusing on.
