Tax Question - Oregon Specific

Greetings,

I remember reading some really good tax tip / financial advice posts in the old tilted money forum, so hopefully this is the right place to post such a question:

This year, Oregon residents received a "kicker check" which refunded them some of their state taxes paid in the last 2 years. It is my understanding that this is considered a taxable income for federal tax purposes... my question is: where do you report it? Is it considered "other income" and should it just be added to your state refund amount, or should i expect a 1099G, or is there some other place to put it?

I tried google for an answer to this, since i assume it would be a fairly common question, but since the turbotax screw up which cheated a bunch of residents out of their kicker checks this year, all i can find are headlines about that mix up, and nothing about how to report this income in 2007 federal taxes.
