I bet it is your body’s way of adjusting to the loss of birth control. Certain methods can take up to six month before you will resume a normal cycle and your body can get back to normal. I suggest you call Planned Parenthood or Google "sliding fee clinics" in your area. There are many clinics out there that will see you for $25.
I know you took a preg test and it said no but it is possible you had a miscarriage and your body is expelling the embryo. However I am more inclined to lean toward my first explanation. Good luck.
