If the $75 is worth it for the miles you get, go for it. I personally use the Marriott card because I get all sorts of point bonuses for being a Marriott Rewards member for so long. I only pay $30/year and regularly use $2,000 worth or more of rooms with points per year. That $30 is a great investment for me.
