Where did this "lay down and die" culture come from? Why is it so popular? Guns completely forgotten, I always kinda figure people are more combative, less pussified in nature. Kicking and screaming, swinging fists and baseball bats... instead of hiding under the bed and dialing a cell phone with shaky hands as if maybe God is on the other end of the line and gonna make everything "all better" with a just-for-you miracle.
