I am interested in using my computer like a DVR. There are some products offered out there that claim to make this possible. Has anyone tried them? Please share you successes for failures.

Also, I have found some web services that also claim to provide internet TV content. Has anyone tried these?

I am looking to spend less than $100 on hardware or $15 a month for an internet subscription

I have a digital cable TV box and a cable modem.
