You ought to be able to get an adaptor that goes from 220v AC to 12v DC without too much trouble. It'll cost more than $3, granted, but still. I know I've seen them at Radio Shack and the like.
If you're hell-bent, based on the hardware you've posted above I see no reason why it shouldn't work, although I'm speaking from the position of never having attempted anything like this before. That PSU ought to be able to push enough power through to run the display, given that it's not very heavily loaded by the other hardware.
So, yeah. It ought to work, but proceed with caution. Screwing this up could leave you out both monitor and PSU.
