Dentists
I had some dental work about a year ago, and because I did not have dental insurance, I paid cash for the work. The cost to the dentist was $22,000. The cost of the anesthetic service was $6000.
I was just made aware of the fact of me overpaying them by $800, the dentist, not the anesthesiologist. The reason I found out was they called to schedule a year end appointment. They did a routine checkup, and when I went up front to pay, the girl in accounting said I had a credit balance, so, she would just deduct the payment for the day from that. I asked her what the balance was after that, and she said it was almost $800. I thanked her and left.???? After I got home and started thinking about it. I would like for them to refund my money, because I have no plans of going back to that dentist. Are they obligated to refund my money? or does anyone know?
Thank you
